At the same time, a trailer has been published, which is a rich cut of the gameplay. The console version of the game is not a simple transfer: the developers have optimized the interface and made a number of changes that make it more convenient to control from the gamepad.

Mechanicus was released on PC ( Steam ) in November 2018, where it received very positive feedback from players (92% of praise from over 4 thousand). At the same time, on the Metacritic resource, a user rating of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is 8.1 points out of 10, and critics – 78 out of 100. On Opencritic, the rating is 80 out of 100, and 81% of reviewers recommend step-by-step tactics. There is a full Russian localization in the form of subtitles and an interface (voice acting in the game is not provided).

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus invites you to lead the army of one of the most advanced organizations in the Imperium – the Adeptus Mechanicus, and go on an expedition to the planet of the Necrons, Silva Tenebris. The decisions made during the missions affect the fate of the ship-ark “Cestus Metallica”. At the same time, during the tasks, it is necessary to distribute resources and control the tech-priests, explore the tombs, and find rewards. The plot was played by the author of the publishing house Black Library, Ben Counter.

The console version also includes the previously released Heretech add-on, which opens an additional storyline and shows the dark side of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Players will be able to find out what caused the unrest at Cestus Metallica during the Silva Tenebris campaign. You will have to fight with very similar enemies – a cohort of heretic tech-priests who changed their faith and betrayed the name of Omnissia.

In addition, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus for consoles includes Omnissia Edition content: soundtrack; a digital album of illustrations; powerful arc whip as a melee weapon; and the short story Deus Ex Mechanicus by Andy Chambers.
