Was the 15-inch MacBook Air no longer needed?

50% below forecasts

The fresh MackBook Air 15, which many thematic resources have called the best Apple laptop, does not seem to be in great demand.

According to Apple’s supply chain, the 15-inch MacBook Air announced at the WWDC in June fell short of customer expectations. There are even calls for the supply chain to suspend supplies.

Was the 15-inch MacBook Air no longer needed?

MacRumors adds that in July, shipments of the new Air were 50% lower than originally estimated, which is why manufacturers have already reduced production volumes.

The reasons for this situation are still unclear. Perhaps the general decline in the PC market, perhaps the fact that users prefer to wait for updated versions on the M3.
