Wasteland 3 received patch 1.3 with “tourist” difficulty level and two fantasy costumes

The main feature of the fresh patch was the previously announced “Tourist” – an additional level of difficulty, with which the game becomes even easier than on the “Rookie”.

The developers did not share the details of the “Tourist” operation, but noted that this mode allows you to enjoy the Wasteland 3 storyline, pushing the battles “into the background”.

Also, version 1.3.0 brought with it new possibilities of character individualization (hairstyles, beards, pants) and two fantasy costumes – a wizard and a knight.

To get access to the mentioned skins, users need to first complete the task “The rats are cornered.” Upon completion of the quest, a chest with the corresponding reward will appear in the heroes’ headquarters.

Among other things, 1.3.0 introduces some changes to the game balance and fixes numerous bugs, for example, with animation when the frame rate drops and certain achievements.

Wasteland 3 was released in August 2020 on PC (Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store), PS4, and Xbox One. For 2021, the studio plans to add new features, improve animal companions, expand settings and release add-ons.
