Watch Dogs: Legion Coming To Online Modes And Two DLC Missions On March 9th

Ubisoft and Ubisoft Toronto have announced that Watch Dogs: Legion will be available for free online on March 9th. The multiplayer was supposed to debut last year, but the premiere was postponed due to the redirection of resources to catch bugs in the main game.

The online aspect of Watch Dogs: Legion includes:

  • cooperative mode, where players can team up with their friends up to four people and explore the city, participate in events, site activities, and complete challenges;
  • co-op missions for two to four players, using new mechanics and allowing gamers to recruit the perfect team to fend off London’s threats in the city’s most iconic locations;
  • Spiderbot Arena PvP mode, where four players control armed spider robots and compete in merciless combat;

Leader of the Pack is the first four-player co-operative tactical operation that will require teamwork. It is available in the endgame and consists of five interconnected story missions. For those who crave trials.

Also, on March 9th, Watch Dogs: Legion will be releasing two new single-player missions as part of the Season Pass:

  • Guardian Protocol – DedSec tracks an algorithm that could allow AI to override human decisions. The attacker threatens to use an algorithm to turn drones with weapons into autonomous executioners;
  • Not in Our Name – An unknown group impersonates DedSec and steals information so that the ruthless tabloid owner can use it to blackmail his victims.

Watch Dogs: Legion is out on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
