Watch SE3 will only be released next year

Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman says that the third-generation Watch SE model will appear next year. 

This makes sense, since the current SE came out last year, and Apple doesn’t update its cheapest smartwatch every year. Watch SE3 will change little in appearance, but will receive a new platform. 

Watch SE3 will only be released next year

Considering that the current generation SE came out with the Series 8 and received the same SiP S8, it is likely that the Watch SE3 will receive the same S10 platform as the Series 10. However, it could also be an S9 to reduce the cost of the model. 

For this year’s Series 9, the source also does not expect any significant design changes, but the new SiP S9 should be significantly more productive than its predecessor.
