So far, the novelty is sold only in China.

The well-known Western publication Tom’s Guide published a review of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 13 Ultra, in which it praised the new product for its excellent camera system, performance, high-quality display and fast charging.

Tom’s Guide writes that Xiaomi, with four 50-megapixel Xiaomi 13 Ultra modules, has taken the camera system in smartphones to a new level, while the camera has “a lot of built-in tricks.”

Xiaomi may have released the most technologically advanced phone of 2023, but the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is hard to recommend due to its limited availability. What a pity, because the camera tricks you can do with this phone are something few, if any, smartphones are capable of.

The strengths of Xiaomi 13 Ultra are not limited to cameras. You still get the gold standard of display and chipset technology for today’s Android phones, as well as fairly fast charging – if you can get this smartphone. If this phone were to be sold in the UK or the US, I would definitely recommend it to users who want amazing photos in a high-end smartphone case.

The disadvantages of the phone, in addition to accessibility, the author of the review attributed only the bulky design.

Western publications shared their opinions about Xiaomi 13 Ultra

Earlier, Xiaomi and Redmi President Lu Weibing posted new photos of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 13 Ultra .

Updated: pocket-lint.com agrees that the phone has few weaknesses:

The only real downside to this smartphone is that it’s not being released outside of China at the moment. Nothing was said about an international launch, and the fact that it came to us without Google Play Services or any Google apps installed indicates that this is a Chinese-only phone. Based on the price of the Xiaomi 13 Pro that was launched in Western markets, we can safely assume that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be very expensive outside of China.

Trustedreviews believes that in the UK the price of new items would be between 1300 and 1400 pounds.

The camera hardware is one of the best I’ve ever seen on any phone. A huge sensor, variable aperture, telephoto duo and four 50MP sensors make this a tempting smartphone, especially if you want more creative control over your shots than you get from the iPhone 14 or Galaxy S23. If everything works as advertised by Xiaomi, then there is every chance that this could be the best Android phone on the market.
