The WhatsApp team announced the launch of two new useful features in the popular messenger. Both innovations are designed to improve privacy and security.
The first innovation is automatic mute for unknown numbers. According to the developers, this gives users more control over incoming calls and increases the level of privacy, allowing you to automatically filter spam, as well as calls from scammers and strangers. Such calls will be muted, but on the Calls tab, you can check if any of them are important.

The second innovation is the privacy check. This feature allows you to explore all privacy settings step by step and choose the appropriate level of protection. To use this feature, you need to click “Start Check” in your privacy settings.
