While the new feature is available in beta for Windows
A new beta version of WhatsApp messenger 2.2316.2.0 for the Windows operating system has been released and can be downloaded from the official WhatsApp beta channel in the Microsoft Store. This update introduced the function of playing voice messages outside of messenger chats. That is, this feature allows you to continue listening to a voice message sent to any WhatsApp chat by closing the correspondence window.

Thanks to the new function, the messenger user has the opportunity to perform several actions at the same time while listening to a voice message.
