WhatsApp users will be able to mute the video before sending it

The popular messenger WhatsApp continues to regularly receive new features to make the process of interaction with the service more comfortable. This time we are talking about a function that allows you to mute the sound in a video before sending it to someone. Thanks to this, users will be able to view the received videos without annoying others.

According to reports, the developers have begun rolling out the mentioned feature for users of beta versions of the WhatsApp messenger on devices running Android and iOS. To mute a video that a user wants to send to someone, activate the corresponding switch in the settings menu before sending. The recipient of such a video will see the video without sound during playback but, if necessary, will be able to turn it on independently.

All beta users of WhatsApp will soon be able to mute forwarded videos. Obviously, it will take some time before the large-scale distribution of the function, during which this tool will be tested on a limited number of users of the service.

It is also worth noting that WhatsApp developers will soon launch other interesting features. First of all, we are talking about support for biometric authentication and the ability to use one WhatsApp account at the same time to access the service from multiple devices. Both functions have been developed for a long time, but not much is known about their launch timing.
