Beta testers found it in the new version of the messenger for Android
The developers of the WhatsApp messenger have released a new version of the application for the Android operating system under the number 2.23.2.11, and so far it is only available for testing on the Google Play Beta Program. This was announced by the WABetaInfo resource, drawing attention to an interesting innovation that will appear in this version. It turns out that the WhatsApp team is now working on making it possible to send photos in original quality through the application.
We previously wrote about the HD Photos feature, which was tested in one of the previous versions and allowed you to choose the quality for pictures sent via WhatsApp between “automatic”, “best quality” and “data saving”. But even with the best quality, the photos were still sent with compression, it was just smaller. According to WABetaInfo, in update 2.23.2.11 for the Android OS, it will be possible to send pictures in their original quality, without any compression at all. It remains to be hoped that this feature will actually appear in one of the next stable versions of the messenger.
