“Where are you going, dear?”: Blogger showed how the characters of Resident Evil Village sound in different languages
Recently, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users had the opportunity to play two parts of the second demo of Resident Evil Village. Thanks to this, various materials on the game appeared on the Web. This includes a video from the Sean Sun YouTube channel. It allows you to compare how the characters of the upcoming horror film sound in different languages, including Russian.
The video creator recorded three gameplay cuts. In the first, the protagonist Ethan Winters runs away from Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters in the castle. The latter constantly threatens the protagonist, promises to make him a decoration of the main hall, and says: “It has been a long time since I opened the peasants. “
The second segment shows a meeting with the merchant Duke. He asks about Ethan’s kidnapped daughter and suggests that she is being hidden in Lady Dimitrescu’s quarters. Sergey Chikhachev voiced this character in Russian localization.
And in the third gameplay fragment, the main character tries to escape from another daughter of Lady Dumitrescu, but he fails. The enemy grabs Ethan with the phrase “where are you going, dear” and kills him.
Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7, 2021, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S. According to rumors, the game will take from 13 to 16 hours to complete.
