Release will take place this year
Build A Rocket Boy has unveiled MindsEye, an AAA action-adventure game that will be distributed through the connected, player-driven Everywhere platform .
Edinburgh-based Build A Rocket Boy has been working on the Everywhere platform for the past few years. This platform is also a huge multiplayer online game. The studio was founded by former Rockstar North president and Grand Theft Auto lead developer Leslie Benzies.
While fans are waiting for GTA VI
The developers stated that MindsEye is a story-driven adventure set in “a world of futuristic corporations, conspiracy theories and sinister new technologies.” Judging by the trailer, we are waiting for robots, artificial intelligence, chases, gunfights and much more. The project is created on the basis of Unreal Engine 5.
Build A Rocket Boy plans to make the content featured in MindsEye available on Everywhere for players to experiment with in the future.
Already this year, Everywhere plans to launch one of the four research areas of MindsEye.
