But so far, the Apple leader does not think about his departure

In a recent interview, Apple leader Tim Cook answered a journalist’s question about whether he will still work for Apple in 10 years.

Who Will Lead Apple in 10 Years? Tim Cook is not sure he can last that long.

The chief executive of the company said he may not be running Apple in 10 years, although he has not yet thought about leaving. At the same time, he does not even hint who is going to replace him as CEO.

Another ten years? Probably no. But I can tell you that now I feel great and it is still far from my departure. But another ten years is a long time, so probably no more than ten years.

Tim Cook has been at Apple since 1997 and became CEO in 2011 following the death of founder Steve Jobs. Cook celebrated his 60th birthday last year, and today they are starting to talk about how much longer he will run the world’s largest company.

Cook’s position indicates that he intends to remain in office for the foreseeable future. Bloomberg reported last year that Apple is increasingly focusing on succession planning, with CEO candidates Jeff Williams and John Ternus being nominated.
