Xiaomi, it seems, is preparing to make the native camera application for its smartphones even better. In the MIUI Camera code from the Chinese beta version of MIUI 12, lines of code were discovered today that indicate the imminent appearance of a new feature called AI Shutter.

AI Shutter will be similar to the Top Shot feature in Google Pixel smartphones. Recall that this function, based on AI, selects the most successful ones from a series of photos. That is, the user pinches the shooting button, the smartphone takes many photos, and AI Shutter AI functions to select the best, evaluating various factors, including a smile, open eyes, and more. It is worth considering that AI Shutter is the preliminary name of the function. Whether it will remain when it appears in the MIUI Camera application is, for now, one can only guess. It is also unclear whether it will be available in all smartphones with MIUI 12 or only in devices with fairly productive platforms.
