Back in February, Windows 10 20H2 was installed on only 20% of devices. Now this version of the operating system is confidently entrenched in second place in the popularity rating. The most common is Windows 10 (2004), which was released last May. As of the end of March, it was used by 42.1% of devices.

The worst decline in the reporting period was the level of distribution of Windows 10 (1909). If in February the share of this OS version was 26.8%, then in March it fell to 18.4%. Older versions of the software platform continue to lose ground gradually. The share of Windows 10 (1903) for the month fell from 5.8% to 4.6%, Windows 10 (1809) – from 1.4% to 1.2%, Windows 10 (1803) – from 1.7% to 1 ,four %. The total share of other Windows 10 decreased from 2.1% in February to 1.9% in March. The share of devices with OS versions for participants in the Microsoft insider program has slightly increased – from 0.3% to 0.5%.

As a reminder, the monthly reports of the AdDuplex platform are based on data received from 5,000 applications from the Microsoft Store using the AdDuplex SDK v2 or higher. The March ranking is based on data received from 80,000 computers running different versions of Windows 10.
