Windows 10 adds support for running multiple Android apps at the same time

Last year, Microsoft added several interesting features to the Your Phone app in Windows 10, one of which was the ability to run apps installed on an Android smartphone. Now it became known that this feature has received an improvement and users of supported devices will be able to run several Android applications at once on their Windows 10 PC.

An update for the Your Phone app, after installing which users of supported smartphones will be able to run multiple Android apps simultaneously on Windows 10, began rolling out a few days ago. It will probably take a few days before it becomes available to all users.

It is worth noting that currently, the ability to broadcast Android applications in Windows 10 is implemented only on some Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Microsoft has talked in the past about plans to expand the list of supported devices, but little is known about this at this time.

Earlier it was reported that Microsoft is working on the implementation of support for launching Android applications in Windows 10 as part of the Project Latte project. Developers are expected to be able to easily port their Android apps to Windows 10 with minimal changes and publishing to the Microsoft Store. This system should be based on the Windows Subsystem for Linux. It is not yet known when this project will be ready for a large-scale launch.

Therefore, once the Your Phone tool update is complete, only supported Samsung smartphones will be able to run multiple Android apps on Windows 10.
