No brand new features
Microsoft now releases major functional updates to the Windows 10 operating system twice a year. As it turned out, the expected autumn update of 2020 will actually be a small update, which may disappoint many.
Windows 10 big fall update will be disappointingly small
This was reported by the thematic resource WindowsLatest. Thus, Microsoft will continue the tradition of 2019 – a major update is released in the spring, and in the fall – a small one.
According to the source, the autumn update of Windows 10, codenamed 20H2, did not receive any fundamentally new features, as well as last year’s November update Windows 10 November 2019 Update. The update will introduce minor improvements and changes. Minor innovations are expected, but nothing global is expected.
The coronavirus pandemic has already affected plans to release the May Windows 10 May 2020 Update. The release for ordinary users was postponed from early May to late May. It is unclear whether Microsoft will be able to release Windows 10 20H2 in the fall on time.
