She works very fast

The developers from the NTDEV team presented their new creation – an assembly of the Windows 11 Pro operating system called Live11. This assembly is notable in that it can be written to a USB drive or memory card, and then immediately boot without installing the system.

Live USB technology (previously there were also Live CDs and Live DVDs) is well known to Linux users, but is less commonly used with Windows. The Live11 version allows you to run the OS, but the system will not allow you to download and install applications. At the same time, we note that this assembly will work even on incompatible PCs, since there is no check for TPM 2.0 here.

After starting, the system is placed in RAM, occupying about 4 GB on a RAM disk (this is the name of a virtual disk located in RAM). Windows 11 Pro build is currently 22621.1555. Notepad, Paint, Scissors, and Terminal are preinstalled by default. But there is no Microsoft Edge or any other browser, just like in the Tiny11 build from the same team.

The system uses less than 2 GB of RAM (in addition to the 4 GB it takes up on the RAM disk) and is very fast. You can download the system here , but it is not yet clear to what extent Microsoft allows such experiments.
