Wider deployment of the new OS scheduled for 2025
Microsoft is preparing to launch Windows 12 in about a year. Resource Windows Latest reports that the launch is scheduled for next fall. A wider rollout of the new OS is slated for 2025.
Now Microsoft is experimenting with several new design ideas, including a new desktop with a kind of “floating” taskbar. The bottom line is that Microsoft wants to make the taskbar appear to float above the desktop by separating it from the desktop itself and rounding off the edges.

Actually, Microsoft accidentally demonstrated one of the options for such a solution during the Microsoft Ignite 2023 event. But the final design, of course, may be different.
There was also earlier evidence that Windows 12 would be highly optimized for processors based on the Arm architecture. Firstly, Apple has shown that such solutions can in many ways be better than the classic ones, and secondly, Microsoft itself is allegedly working on its own Arm platforms.
