Wreckfest earned on Xbox Series S in 4K, and on Series X – also at 60fps

THQ Nordic and Bugbear Entertainment have released an update for the Wreckfest car simulator. As part of the patch, the Xbox Series X raised the frame rate to 60fps (at 4K resolution), and on the Xbox Series S, the resolution was increased to 4K (at 30fps).

Besides, with the release of the patch in Wreckfest, there were:

  • new Woodland Dash tournament;
  • New routes on Pinehills Raceway, including those that the community has been asking for for a long time;
  • new free car Hammerhead RS.Finally, Bugbear Entertainment revealed that it had been actively working on tweaking the gameplay balance of Wreckfest based on user feedback. The update contains several additional improvements; for example, the Tournament Leaderboard should now work correctly on Xbox consoles.
