Xbox CEO hints that Japanese Xbox Series X games will be unveiled on July 23rd

Over the past couple of years, more and more Japanese games have come out on the Xbox One. Speaking to JeuxVideo, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer admitted that Microsoft still has a lot of work to do to conquer the Japanese market. Nevertheless, he is pleased with the progress made.

In an interview, Spencer commented that he liked what Japanese games represented on the Xbox show. “We know we need to work to restore the confidence of Japanese developers,” he added.

“I’m proud of what we’re going to show on July 23rd and love our plan to work with Japanese developers of great Xbox games. You will hear more about this in the future, ”Spencer said. ”  We know it’s critical to our strategy to make sure that awesome Japanese studios see the Xbox as the platform on which they can succeed

Apparently, on July 23, not only games from Xbox Game Studios await us. Recall that at the presentation of the Xbox at the E3 exhibition, such projects as Phantasy Star Online 2, Elden Ring, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Devil May Cry 5 were previously presented. And in May of this year, Scarlet Nexus from Bandai Namco Entertainment was announced.

Spencer previously mentioned that he wants to bring the Japanese team to Xbox Game Studios, and recently confirmed that Microsoft fully supports the purchase of new studios.
