Xerox will release 530,000 liters of Antiseptic / Sanitizers

Xerox announced its intention to release 530,000 liters of antiseptic by June 2020, using its manufacturing capabilities and experience in the field of work with materials. Thus, the company is going to help during the global pandemic of the coronavirus.

First deliveries are expected at the end of the month: from development to launching the product on the market, only a few weeks will pass. Xerox will produce an antiseptic at its facilities in Toronto (Canada) and near Rochester (USA, New York). The product will be distributed through resellers who work with leading healthcare providers as authorized suppliers.

“Now is the time when every company and every person needs to think about how they can help society,” said John Visentin, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Xerox. “For the foreseeable future, essentials, such as hand sanitizers, will continue to be in high demand.” Our team quickly moved forward, found ways to overcome the obstacles that it encountered, and has already started deliveries. And all this was done in less than a month. ”

This initiative follows a statement made by the company in early April. Then Xerox announced a partnership with Vortran Medical Technology. It aims to accelerate and expand the production of disposable GO2Vent mechanical ventilation apparatus and APM-Plus airway pressure meters used with them. These products are intended for hospitals and emergency teams that are involved in the fight against COVID-19.
