The sensor will still be quite large
The Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone, according to Insider Digital Chat Station, will have a main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels with a variable aperture.
Xiaomi 14 Pro will lose the inch sensor like the 13 Pro but will gain a variable aperture from F/1.4
The value can be changed between F/1.4 and F/4.0. Whether there will be intermediate values is unknown. At the same time, the sensor will supposedly not be the largest – 1/1.28-inch optical format. The latter is somewhat strange, since even the Xiaomi 13 Pro has an inch sensor, just like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. However, although a large sensor allows you to receive more light, in the case of Xiaomi 14 Pro the problem will be partially solved using a very large aperture. For comparison, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has F/1.9.
The rest of the new product is credited with a 2K screen with record brightness and a battery with a capacity of 48xx mAh.
