Xiaomi has certified another POCO smartphone in the EEC. This is probably an analogue of Redmi Note 10

Xiaomi makes a variety of smartphones under different brands for different markets. However, some of these devices are renamed versions of existing phones. One of such devices will be the new POCO smartphone, which was certified yesterday by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The device with model number M2010J19SC is likely to be a renamed version of another Xiaomi device. According to rumors, it will become an analog of the upcoming Redmi Note 10. This move is a common practice for the manufacturer. POCO Regional Director Anuj Sharma said in an interview that POCO is still a fairly young brand, so developing new devices for each series from scratch is not an easy task. Because of this, Redmi smartphones are taken as a basis, which, after some modifications, enter the market under the POCO brand.

This practice is by no means new to the smartphone market. The same OnePlus One was more an OPPO product than OnePlus. The same can be said for many Realme devices. Sharma also stated that POCO will continue to follow this strategy.

Thus, there is no doubt that the POCO certified smartphone yesterday will become a renamed device of the Redmi Note 10 series, although surprises are still possible.
