Xiaomi has come up with a smartphone with two screens, one of which is minimized

Xiaomi has proposed another version of the smartphone, which uses a flexible display. The description of the device was published on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The LetsGoDigital resource presented conceptual renders of the device, created with the participation of Concept Creator. The pictures give an idea of the construction of the unusual device.

As planned by Xiaomi, the smartphone will be equipped with two displays – front and rear. Moreover, the main front screen can be pulled out of the case, thanks to which the owners can transform the device into a small tablet computer.

Users will be able to stretch the main screen to the required length: its useful area in the extreme state will almost double. A special mechanism will ensure stability.

Thanks to the rear display, the need for a front camera will disappear: owners can shoot self-portraits on the main multi-module camera, using the rear screen as a viewfinder.

Alas, so far the proposed design exists only on paper. Xiaomi does not disclose plans to create a commercial version of the device.
