Xiaomi tomorrow, January 9, will begin European sales of the affordable Redmi 9T smartphone equipped with a 6.53-inch FHD + Dot Drop display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9.

The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, containing eight Kryo 260 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X11 LTE cellular modem. Power is provided by a powerful rechargeable battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh with support for 18-watt charging.

The rear quad camera has the following configuration: a 48-megapixel unit with a maximum aperture of f / 1.79, an 8-megapixel module with wide-angle optics (120 °, f / 2.2), a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro module. An 8-megapixel camera is responsible for taking selfies.

The smartphone carries an NFC controller, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, FM radio, stereo speakers. There is a MicroSD slot, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a side fingerprint scanner. Dimensions are 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm, weight – 198 g.

The device will ship with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 in the following variants:
