Xiaomi is preparing to launch an advanced version of POCO X3

Today it became known that the POCO X3 Pro smartphone has been certified by the American regulator FCC. This probably indicates that the official launch of the device, which has the model number M2102J20SG, is just around the corner. The device is reportedly running MIUI 12 out of the box.

As a reminder, Xiaomi unveiled the base POCO X3 last September. At a cost of 200 euros, this device boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, working in conjunction with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory, a powerful 5160 mAh battery, and a large 6.67-inch IPS-screen with Full HD + resolution and frequency refresh 120 Hz.

The key characteristics of the POCO X3 Pro are still unknown, but it is assumed that the smartphone will be based on the Snapdragon 8-series processor. The heart of the device is likely to be the recently unveiled Snapdragon 870, which is a slightly overclocked version of last year’s Snapdragon 865 and is aimed at affordable flagship smartphones.

It is important to note that the POCO brand is aimed at the international market. Thus, under the name POCO X3, one of the Xiaomi smartphones already sold in the Chinese domestic market may be released. In any case, this will become known in the near future.
