Xiaomi is preparing two versions of the Black Shark 4 gaming smartphone on different Snapdragon processors
It is expected that soon Xiaomi will introduce a new generation of gaming smartphones under the Black Shark brand. Last year, two versions of the gaming device were released. Xiaomi is expected to continue this tradition and delight its fans with the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro smartphones. Today, a network source has revealed the key characteristics of these devices.
Chinese tech blog Digital Chat Station announced that the basic version of the smartphone would be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, positioned as a solution for affordable flagships. In fact, this chip is a bit overclocked from last year’s Snapdragon 865+. As for the Black Shark 4 Pro, this device will boast the uncompromising performance of the current flagship Snapdragon 888 processor, built according to the 5nm process technology norms.
This year, it became known that the Black Shark 4 will receive support for fast 120-W charging and a 4500 mAh battery. This will allow you to restore your energy reserve in 15 minutes fully. It was assumed that such fast charging would be the prerogative of the older version, but the source said that both versions of the device would boast of it. Also, it is reported that the Black Shark 4 Pro will receive a more compact screen than last year’s Black Shark 3 Pro. The new product will offer a 6.67-inch panel with Full HD + resolution, while last year’s model is equipped with a 7-inch AMOLED-matrix with a resolution of 1440p.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 smartphones are expected to be unveiled and go on sale in China before this month. The global launch of the devices is expected a little later.
