Xiaomi topped the list as its smartphones retain the highest residual value when their users are ready to purchase new models. The first place went to Xiaomi Mi 10, followed by the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
The top ten include Huawei Mate Xs, Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Honor 30 Pro, OnePlus 8, Honor Play 4, and Huawei Nova7.
According to official information from the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology, from January to October 2020, the total supply of mobile phones to the Chinese market was 252 million units. Of these, almost half (124 million smartphones) were models with support for fifth-generation networks.
Since June this year, shipments of 5G-enabled mobile phones in China have consistently accounted for over 60% of total shipments. There is no doubt that 5G smartphones in China will account for more than half of shipments in 2020.
