For Xiaomi, this is an achievement

Many companies have already extended the software update cycle of their smartphones to 4-5 years, but Xiaomi is in no hurry to do this: for most models, two big Android updates are still guaranteed. But with the release of MIUI 14, something did change: Xiaomi promised to release this update for the “old” Mi 10 line. And now the final MIUI 14 based on Android 13 has reached Mi 10 in China.

The firmware in China is marked with the number 14.0.2.0.TJBCNXM. Its size is decent – 4.1 GB, the March Android security updates are part of the new software. Interestingly, MIUI 14 for this model is exactly the same as for more recent devices – nothing is “cut out”, although it was previously said that older phones may not receive some of the MIUI 14 features like the “photon engine”. Recall that Xiaomi Mi 10 was released on February 13, 2020, it is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
