Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G smartphone announced with a new generation 108-megapixel camera
Xiaomi has unveiled the flagship Mi 10i 5G smartphone, which has expanded to the Xiaomi Mi 10 series of devices, including the Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro models. While most of the devices in this series are based on the Snapdragon 865 chip, the new model has a mid-range Snapdragon 750G chipset with Adreno 619 graphics and 5G support. In fact, the Xiaomi Mi 10i is an improved version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T-Lite with a more powerful main camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G specifications include up to 8GB of LPPDR4x RAM and a UFS 2.2 flash drive up to 256GB, and there is also a microSD card slot. To control and regulate the temperature, Mi 10i 5G has 11 sensors on the back. In addition, the temperature of the device components is controlled by an integrated cooling system.
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G equipped IPS LCD display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches having a resolution of Full HD +, the aspect ratio of 20: 9, the luminance component of 450 cd / m 2. Also, Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G is equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with support for electronic image stabilization (EIS), located in the notch in the centre of the upper part of the screen. It can shoot 1080p video at 30fps and slow-motion video at 120fps.
On the rear panel, there is a camera with the main 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor of the second generation, presented by the South Korean company in September last year. Also, the rear camera of the smartphone includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees, a 2-megapixel module for macro photography and a 2-megapixel sensor for obtaining information about the depth of the scene. Thanks to its high native ISO and binarization (9-in-1 pixel combining technology) of the main camera, Mi 10i 5G allows you to take high-quality images in low light conditions. The main camera supports 4K video recording at up to 30 fps and Slow Motion at 960 fps.
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G is equipped with a 4820 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone’s specs also include dual SIM card slots, NFC, USB-C, infrared, Hi-Res Audio certified stereo speakers, Widevine CDM certified with L1 security, and 3.5mm audio jack. The side fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the device. The dimensions of the smartphone are 165.4 × 76.8 × 9 mm, the weight is 215 g.
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G comes preinstalled with Android 10 OS with MIUI 12. Currently, the new product is available in India at a price of $ 287 for a version with 6 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB.
