The first brought all the innovations of MIUI 12, and the second increased the stability of the model and fixed some errors. Therefore, its size is small – 138 MB.

It should be noted that we are talking about a closed beta version, but on May 8 an open beta will be released, which users can install on their own “without registration and SMS.” The final version of MIUI 12 for Mi 8 is promised in the “second wave”: the first will be released at the end of June and will concern the current and last year flagships Xiaomi and Redmi, and the second, in which, in addition to Mi 8, there will also be Mi 9 SE, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 7, it is logical to wait in July.
