Xiaomi continues to distribute the stable version of the proprietary MIUI 12.5 shell for its smartphones, this time updating the popular Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and Redmi K30 5G models.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and Redmi K30 5G received stable MIUI 12.5

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro became the world’s first smartphone equipped with a 108 megapixel camera. It entered the global market under the name Xiaomi Mi Note 10. The older version of the smartphone, which received an improved lens, came out under the name Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition or Mi Note 10 Pro. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition phones have identical software installed, so they were updated at the same time.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro debuted with MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 Pie, later the smartphone received an update to Android 10 and then to MIUI 12. Earlier this year, the phone also received an update to Android 11. It now received the firmware number V12.5.2. 0.RFDCNXM in China. The global version of the smartphone is expected to receive an update soon.

Redmi K30 5G was also launched with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. The smartphone has been updated to MIUI 12 and then to Android 11. It has now started receiving the V12.5.2.0.RGICNXM firmware.
