Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite owners started receiving Android 11, but so far without MIUI 12.5
The owners of Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite began to receive Android 11. But since testing and development of MIUI 12.5 is still ongoing, MIUI 12 is still used as a graphical shell.
The update is now available to all owners of these devices. The company recently published a list of devices whose owners are eligible to take part in the MIUI 12.5 testing, and Mi Note 10 Lite users from China can install a test version of Android 11 with this shell version from the beginning of January. However, for the global market, Xiaomi has probably not yet had time to optimize it, so here Android 11 is offered with MIUI 12.
The update weighs 2.3GB and includes all the new features of Android 11, such as one-time app permissions, advanced notification settings, built-in screen recording, active Bluetooth during flight, and more. The update comes with the latest security patch from Google.
Going forward, Xiaomi is likely to release MIUI 12.5 for the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite as a separate update. Earlier, we reported on new features that debuted in MIUI 12.5.
