From today all versions of Xiaomi Mix Fold are available in the JingDong store in “sufficient quantity”. Users are offered versions that are equipped with 12/256 or 12/512 GB of memory, which cost $ 1530 and $ 1680, respectively. You can also buy a ceramic version with 16/512 GB of memory for $ 2,000. Actual sales are due to start on April 18th.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold has a large 8.01-inch foldable screen as well as a 6.52-inch AMOLED screen on the outside. The manufacturer claims that the hinge part has been tested for 200,000 folding and unfolding cycles. Overall, however, the hinge is rated for 1 million cycles. The main camera uses image sensors with a resolution of 108, 13, and 8 megapixels. It is the first smartphone with a liquid lens that allows a single 8MP camera to be used for both optical zoom and macro photography.
