Xiaomi sets records

The official debut of MIUI took place in the summer of 2010

Today, Xiaomi has shared a new achievement of the MIUI proprietary shell. According to the press service, on May 21, 2023, the number of monthly active users exceeded an important milestone – 600 million.

The statistics take into account smartphone and tablet users from all over the world, not just from China.

Xiaomi sets records

The milestone of 500 million users was “taken” a year and a half ago – in November 2021. Xiaomi bulged MIUI in August 2010. Only 100 people participated in the first internal testing. The first 100 million users were reached in August 2015, then the story developed like this:

1. On June 6, 2018, the number of monthly active MIUI users worldwide exceeded 200 million.
2. On October 28, 2019, the number of monthly active MIUI users worldwide exceeded 300 million.
3. On January 17, 2021, the number of monthly active MIUI users worldwide exceeded 400 million.
4. On November 22, 2021, the number of monthly active MIUI users in the world exceeded 500 million.
