Xiaomi to release $ 45 Mi Box 4S TV box with 4K support
Xiaomi has published teaser images showing the imminent release of a new set-top box – Mi Box 4S. The formal announcement of the device will take place tomorrow, October 21, but it will go on sale later – November 1.
Back in January 2018, Xiaomi announced the Mi Box 4 and Mi Box 4c set-top boxes, and a year later the Mi Box 4 SE modification debuted. Now it’s time to update the lineup.
The Mi Box 4S model will be able to work with 4K video materials with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. It is about supporting HDR technology, which provides high-quality images.
The type of processor used is not specified. But it is known that the novelty carries 2 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 8 GB onboard. There is a dual-band (2.4 / 5 GHz) wireless Wi-Fi adapter.
In the teaser, the prefix is shown in a white case. The kit will include a remote control with support for voice commands.
The approximate price of the new item is already known: it will be possible to purchase it for $ 45.
