Xiaomi to release affordable smart TV Redmi TV codenamed Tarzan
The Chinese company Xiaomi is preparing to release a new smart TV, which will hit the Redmi brand. Information about the device with the codename Tarzan has appeared in the Google Play Console.
The Redmi TV panel is coded MiTV-M00Q3. We are talking about an affordable model corresponding to the Full HD format – 1920 × 1080 pixels. The screen size has not been specified, but most likely, it will not exceed 43 inches diagonally.
It is talking about using the MediaTek T31 processor. This product contains four ARM Cortex A55 processing cores up to 1.2 GHz and an ARM Mali-G52 550 MHz graphics accelerator.
The equipment will include 2 GB of RAM. The operating system Android 10 will be used as the software platform.
The official presentation of the novelty will take place shortly. The price has not yet been disclosed, but it can be assumed that it will not be too high.
We add that Xiaomi announced the Mi TV P1 TVs with a diagonal of 55 inches the other day. These panels are based on the MediaTek MT9611 processor. The price of the devices varies from 280 to 650 euros, depending on the size.
