Unfortunately, the poster does not provide technical information about the new product, but given the postscript in the Pro title, it will probably be able to offer more advanced features compared to the original version of the Mi EBook Reader presented by Xiaomi a year ago. Of the obvious things, the only thing that catches your eye is the emerging round touch button under the screen.

As a reminder, the regular version of this reader is equipped with a six-inch E Ink screen with HD resolution, a pixel density of 212 PPI (pixels per inch) and 24 levels of display backlight brightness. The device received 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory, as well as a quad-core Allwiner processor with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz. The e-reader uses a USB Type-C port for communication and charging. The battery capacity of the gadget is 1800 mAh. The device weighs 178 grams.

It is very likely that the Pro version of the Xiaomi e-reader will feature a better display with a higher pixel density. The device is also credited with the presence of a voice assistant, but we will be able to find out the official and full characteristics of the novelty tomorrow.

The poster also indicates that the first 7000 buyers of the Mi EBook Reader Pro will get it for 1,099 Yuan (about $ 168).
