Xiaomi will present MIUI 13 as early as next month, if rumors are correct
Even though the spread of MIUI 12.5 is progressing rather slowly, Xiaomi is already preparing to introduce MIUI 13. Gizchina reports that a fresh version of the proprietary interface will be presented on June 25th. It is quite logical that MIUI 13 will initially be launched in China, and only after some time will its global version be released.
Unfortunately, there is no reliable information about what innovations users will see in the new Xiaomi software shell. However, recently it became known that the Chinese company is working on expanding the RAM due to the built-in storage – something like a paging file. As a rule, the launch of new MIUI versions coincides with the presentation of new Xiaomi smartphones. Gizchina experts suggest that Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will debut along with MIUI 13.
As a reminder, Xiaomi is now busy distributing MIUI 12.5. At the moment, she has managed to update the Chinese versions of smartphones, but the firmware version for the global market is not spreading as quickly as users would like. For example, Xiaomi launched a set of beta testers for testing MIUI 12.5 on Poco smartphones just the other day. Testing usually takes quite a long time, so stable versions of MIUI 12.5 on Poco are unlikely to be expected in the next couple of months.
