Xiaomi will present the 5G smartphone Redmi Note 9T on January 8
For some time now, rumours have been circulating on the Internet that Xiaomi is gearing up for the imminent launch of the Redmi Note 9 5G already available in China on the global market. The smartphone, which will be named Redmi Note 9T, is expected to be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. Today the date of the official launch of the device has become known.
Earlier today, the Spanish official Xiaomi Twitter account shared information that the Redmi Note 9T will be unveiled in the country on January 8th at 11:00 local time (13:00 Moscow time). Curiously, the tweet was promptly deleted, and the official Xiaomi Global account announced that the smartphone will be presented “soon”. Recall that, according to available data, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip, which will work in conjunction with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of the flash memory of the UFS 2.2 standard.
It is reported that the smartphone will receive a 6.53-inch IPS-display with a round cutout for the 13-megapixel front camera. The main camera with the main 48-megapixel sensor will consist of three sensors. More details about the phone will become known after its official presentation.
