So far, MIUI 12 is only available in the form of Chinese or unofficial firmware
Xiaomi has begun private testing of MIUI 12 firmware on April 27, but only for the Chinese version. Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users outside of China have to either put up with inconvenience or wait for the global launch of the testing program.
Xiaomi will soon begin international testing of MIUI 12
Chinese MIUI is not intended for use in other regions. It offers only Chinese and English, there are no Google applications and services, and instead of them, many Chinese services are offered.
As early as May 8, it is planned to launch open beta testing in China. But the international launch did not wait long. At least this was reported by one of the moderators from the Xiaomi team at the official Mi Community forum. The exact dates are still not called, but the moderator explained:
All I can tell you is the launch of MIUI 12 Global is close. ”
For the Chinese models Xiaomi and Redmi, stable MIUI 12 builds will begin to be released in June.
