It’s available in China for $400
Xiaomi, which previously presented its first built-in refrigerator, Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator Cross 521L, announced the start of sales of the new product at a price of about $400 in China.
Although Xiaomi refrigerators have been tried to be built into kitchens before, the manufacturer claims that this is definitely its first built-in Xiaomi refrigerator. It has a “true built-in” design with less than 5mm of space on the left and right.
Xiaomi’s first built-in refrigerator launched
The refrigerator uses new thin-wall technology, which allows it to occupy a smaller area and have a larger capacity. Its capacity is 521 liters in 18 compartments. There are three fan speeds and the ability to adjust the humidity level in the compartments. Of the 521 liters, 180 liters are allocated for the freezer.
The refrigerator weighs 99 kg and its dimensions are 89.3 × 69.0 × 201.2 cm. It is only available in white.
