The company shipped more than 20,000 vehicles per month for the first time
On November 1, Xpeng Motors reported that it delivered 20,002 new electric vehicles in October. Sales were up 292% year over year and 31% month over month. This is a monthly record for deliveries.
One of the key drivers of sales growth was the Xpeng G6 model, which demonstrated popularity among consumers and made a huge contribution to Xpeng’s sales growth. In October, Xpeng shipped 8,741 units of Xpeng G6, accounting for 44% of the company’s total shipments for the month. Sales of Xpeng G6 increased by 7% compared to last month. Since launch, the cumulative shipments of Xpeng G6 have exceeded 28,000 units.
Xpeng cars enjoy record demand
In the past few months, Xpeng’s sales have started to increase. The company reported cumulative deliveries of 40,008 vehicles for the third quarter of 2023. This figure not only surpassed the 40,000 unit mark, but also showed an annual growth rate of 35%. Additionally, the month-on-month growth for the third quarter was 72%.
Xpeng G6 is gaining more and more popularity, and customers have been waiting for ordered machines for more than a month. To meet this growing demand, Xpeng is actively working to increase the production capacity and delivery capabilities of the Xpeng G6 model. This includes optimizing production processes and logistics.
