Yakuza: Like a Dragon Coming to Xbox Series X and S November 10

The Gematsu portal, citing a new press release from Sega, reported that the Japanese publisher has confirmed the release date of Yakuza: Like a Dragon on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – November 10 this year.

Earlier, Sega has already announced its intention to release Yakuza: Like a Dragon simultaneously with the next-generation Microsoft console (there will be two of them, as it turned out), so the announcement did not come as a surprise.

Notably, just two weeks ago, Sega confirmed that versions of Yakuza: Like a Dragon for PC (Steam, Windows 10), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will go on sale on November 13, that is, three days later than on Xbox Series X and Series S.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is also coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows 10, and PlayStation 5. Please stay tuned for the [game] release on all platforms in the coming weeks,” Sega said today.

When asked by Gematsu journalist if this means that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will still be released on November 13 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the Sega representative did not answer but referred to the above quote.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will support Smart Delivery technology, that is, versions of the project for two different generations of Xbox must have a single SKU identifier, which of course implies a simultaneous release.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon for PlayStation 5 has no release date at all. This is due to the fact that Sony still hasn’t announced exactly when its new console will go on sale. Thus, the release of the game on PS5 is expected “later” than on other systems.
