Yamaha, like many Japanese companies, is preparing for the Japan Mobility Show 2023, which starts on October 25. At its stand at the event, Yamaha will show an interesting new product – an all-wheel drive electric bike called Y-01W AWD.
The device is interesting in that it has two traction batteries mounted on the frame, and two motors with a power of 500 W each: one is integrated into the front wheel, and the other is located on the frame. The company assures that their work is well coordinated.

The wheels are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Enduro tires and suspension from KYB. The lighting equipment is LED, but neither the panels nor the computer are visible in the published images. Although there is no doubt that the Y-01W AWD will connect to a smartphone.
All details about the concept will be revealed during the Japan Mobility Show – 2023. Then it will become clear whether the Y-01W AWD will turn into a production model.
