Yandex developers have announced the launch of personalized movie ratings in branded services. It will help users choose films, series, and cartoons to their taste.
Yandex earned a personal rating of films
As the developers explain, the rating is calculated specifically for each person and shows how much the film will appeal to him. It is based on the “thousands” of ratings and reviews on movies that Yandex users leave.
The rating is calculated as a percentage based on what a person is looking for in Yandex, what films he watches, and what ratings he gives them. It shows the likelihood that the user will appreciate the film.
A personal rating of films is available in the Yandex search and Yandex.Air. Movies with the highest personal rating are highlighted so that the user draws attention to them. Also, on Yandex, there are KinoPoisk and IMDb ratings for comparison.
