Yandex.Maps launched the project “Own in the City” – voice acting of routes with the voices of celebrities
Each of the celebrities plays up traffic situations in their own way – warns about cameras, speed limits, and difficult junctions. Renata Litvinova became the first “voice” in the project. You can enable Litvinova’s voice in your personal profile: go to Settings, open Routes, select Sound and Voice.
As the developers explain, Renata gives hints in her own recognizable manner – with personal accents, words, and pauses in Moscow Art. For example, before starting the journey, she will say: “The city is something mysterious, and I – Renata Litvinov, will lead you through these secrets.” And if the driver leaves the route, Renata will note: “You know, you are somewhere in the wrong place.”
Voices of other heroes will appear on Yandex.Maps soon. In Yandex.Navigator, a similar voice acting will appear later.
