The Moscow automobile plant “Moskvich” may reduce prices for its cars in the future, as reported by the commercial director of the enterprise, Alexander Migal.
“Yes, cost reduction is possible. First of all, we have to work with current macroeconomic conditions. For the Moskvich team, coping with this challenge is a serious task. Therefore, our main priority now is active work on localization,” said Alexander Migal.
He added that the greater the investment in the localization of production, the less dependence on the exchange rate and its changes will become.

“We must create a car that will be in demand by Russian buyers in terms of both its adaptability to market conditions and consumer expectations and its affordability,” said Alexander Migal.
On August 1, “Moskvich 3” increased in price by 228 thousand rubles and began to cost from 2,220,000 rubles, and the electric “Moskvich 3e” increased in price by 392 thousand rubles, to 3,950,000 rubles.
Earlier, the Moskvich plant told where the Moskvich 6 liftbacks had already appeared, and also confirmed that the list of cities would increase.
