MacRumors revealed details about RAM and storage
There is less than a day left before the announcement of the iPhone 15 smartphones, but new information continues to appear on the Internet. The MacRumors resource has confirmed data on the memory of new Apple smartphones.
Yes, the base $1,100-$1,300 iPhone 15 Pro Max will still offer 128GB of storage
Firstly, there will be no 2 TB in the top version and no 256 GB in the lower ones. Perhaps all this awaits us in the iPhone 16 line, but not this year. That is, the drive options will be the same: 128, 256, 512 GB, and 1 TB. So, if the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1,200 or even $1,300 as many rumors say, it will likely be the only smartphone on the market with that price and 128GB of storage.
The drives will use NAND memory from various manufacturers: SK Hynix, Western Digital, Kioxia, and Samsung.
There is still no clarity regarding RAM. This will be LPDDR5, but options with 6 and 8 GB of memory were tested. Either the younger versions of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have 6 GB, and the older Pro will have 8 GB or the amount of RAM will differ depending on the amount of flash memory. It may also be that all devices will still receive 8 GB of RAM. Memory chip manufacturers will be Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix.
